Hamada Abdelrahman, PhD

Consultant and Scientist.

Hamada Abdelrahman is a Professor of Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition, combining extensive scientific research with hands-on technical and field experience. His expertise bridges academic knowledge with practical applications, delivering innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions.

He holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science from the University of Bari, Italy, conducted under joint supervision with the USDA-ARS, USA. Additionally, he earned an MSc in Mediterranean Organic Agriculture (Italy, 2008) and a BSc in Soil Science and Agricultural Microbiology from Cairo University, Egypt (2003).

Since 2018, Hamada has been providing advisory services to farmers, enterprises, investment groups, and organizations, offering context-specific solutions in farming best practices, waste transformation, regulatory compliance, and standards development. His work focuses on practical, science-driven strategies to enhance soil health, productivity, and sustainability.

He has provided technical and field solutions to farmers across Spain, Egypt, Italy, Poland, and Lithuania, tailoring regenerative practices to diverse agricultural landscapes. His consultancy work with FAO and UNIDO has focused on climate-smart solutions and bio-based agricultural innovations, reinforcing his commitment to sustainability.

Hamada’s research experience spans multiple climatic and environmental contexts, having worked extensively with institutions in Denmark, Italy, Germany, the U.S., and beyond. His studies on soil organic carbon dynamics and its response to land management and climate change have deepened his understanding of resilient farming systems.

His expertise includes:
